An independent firm needed to make a large impact, quickly
An independent representative firm for several insurance agencies wanted to add new customers. They were on a tight schedule and needed a quick, impactful way to promote their business and its services to the local community.
American Heritage reps “shop” for their customers, finding the best mix of insurance providers for each customer’s needs (home, auto, etc.). The company also wanted to highlight that its representatives live in and contribute to the local communities where they do business.
Quickly design marketing mailers that conveyed a lot of information within a restricted amount of space
The company represented 20 different insurance agencies and was competing with representatives from other national, well-known providers. The marketing materials needed to communicate insurance options and that consumers were not locked into one provider for all insurance needs.
A personalized approach
DP Design created several direct marketing mailers emphasizing the PEOPLE who work at American Heritage.
The front of each mailer communicated that American Heritage would find the perfect custom mix for each client via the slogan “Let American Heritage do the shopping for you.”
The back of each mailer was personalized for each agent. It provided the agent’s bio and positioned that agent as community-minded neighbor. It highlighted family and professional ties as well as local volunteer positions.
A direct increase in revenue
The direct marketing mailer helped the sales reps close deals—building the company’s customer base and increasing business revenue by 24%. The mailer was used for several years.
